Denver’s best urban parks bike ride

Le Tour de Parks is a fun urban bike ride to visit some of Denver’s best parks.

During summer evenings or sunny winter days, Denver’s parks are a fabulous place to spend time outside.

Note: Map Locations are not exact. Start at one of the parks below and create your own loop in Google Maps. The urban bike ride mapped below provides a great way to bike some of Denver’s best parks.

It’s best to memorize your general route and the most important streets you need to use. Unless you have a specific biking GPS, it can be hard to follow directions while riding.

The loop is mostly concentrated around downtown and some of the wonderful neighborhoods that lie east of downtown. Using one of the city’s bike paths, like the Cherry Creek Trail, South Platte River Trail, or Lakewood Gulch Trail, it’s easy to access this loop from many points in the city. Add or subtract parks depending on your goals. Brings friends, wear a costume or stop for a beer at your favorite destinations. The route includes a fair bit of street cycling, most of which offer bike lanes. Wear a helmet, be safe and have fun!
